2.This application has been filed by the petitioner praying for reduction of the costs that was imposed on the petitioner vide the Order dated 04.03.2024 of this Court.

3.After some submissions, the learned counsel for the petitioner confines the prayer in the application only to seek an extension of time for the deposit of the said costs.

4.Having considered the fact that the petitioner states that he is retired government employee and is senior citizen and is also suffering from various ailments, the time for making the deposit of the costs is extended by period of 6 months from the date of passing of

this Order.

5.It is made clear that the petitioner shall make the deposit within the abovementioned period, otherwise the consequences shall follow. The deposit of the said costs may be made in instalments, if so desired by the petitioner.

6.The proof of such deposit shall, however, be filed with the Registry of this Court and also with the Investigating Officer on the expiry of the period of six months. In case the proof of deposit is not filed, the Registry is directed to place the petition for consideration of this Court and for passing appropriate orders.

7.The application is disposed of in the above terms.
