1.The present application is filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of interim bail in FIR No.490/2023 dated 16.06.2023 under Sections 21 & 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Bawana.
2.It is pointed out that the surgery of the applicant’s wife has already taken place and she is likely to be discharged today.
3.The learned counsel for the applicant submits that wife of the applicant would require post-surgery care. He requests for extension of the interim bail granted by this Court by order dated 05.04.2024.
4.Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the interim bail granted to the applicant by this Court by order dated 05.04.2024 is extended for period seven days on the same terms
and conditions.
5.The applicant is directed to surrender on or before 23.04.2024.
6.No further orders are required to be passed in the present case. The application is disposed of.
