3.The petitioners vide the present petition under Section 482 of theCr.P.C, 1973 seek quashing of FIR No. 339/2024 registered under Sections324/427/34 IPC, registered at P.S. Sangam Vihar, Delhi and all proceedingemanating therefrom in view of the Settlement arrived at between theparties.
4.Issue notice. Learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State.
5.A request for quashing of the FIR has been made on account of theSettlement inter se the parties. It is stated that parties are neighbours and the
FIR was filed for fight which happened due to some misunderstanding.
The Petition is supported by the Mediation Settlement Deed dated23.08.2024. The parties were able to amicably resolve the matter and theissues and undertake to bind by the Mediation Settlement Deed.
6.The parties are present before this Court in person today, and havebeen identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned.
7.Today, the complainant, who are present in Court state that he has noobjection if the FIR is quashed.
8.In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolvedtheir differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, itwould be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and theproceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment inquashing the FIRs in question.
9.Accordingly FIR No. 339/2024 registered under Sections 324/427/34IPC, registered at P.S. Sangam Vihar, Delhi and all consequentialproceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
10.The petition stands disposed of.
