3.This is petition filed under Section 482 CrPC (Section 528 BNSS)for quashing of FIR No. 887/2014, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC,registered at PS Gandhi Nagar, Delhi.

4.The parties have arrived at settlement before Delhi MediationCentre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, wherein sum of Rs. 1,60,000/- was tobe paid to the respondent No. 2 at the time of quashing.

5.The amount of Rs. 1,65,000/- has been given to the respondent No. 2in Court today (including Rs. 5,000/- towards the delay in filing thisquashing petition).

6.The petitioners are present in Court and are identified by Mr. AjeetKumar, Advocate.

7.Respondent No. 2 is also present and identified by Mr. Rajkumar,Advocate.

8.Since the parties have arrived at settlement and no disputes arepending, I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account ofcompromise would bring peace and would secure ends of justice. The Courtdoes not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to beprosecuted any further.

9.In view of the settlement, FIR No. 887/2014, under Sections498A/406/34 IPC, registered at PS Gandhi Nagar, Delhi is quashed.

10.The petition is accordingly disposed of.
