1. The present application under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the

following prayers:

“In view of the submissions made above, it is therefore prayed that the Petitioner, SHARAFAT SHEIKH S/o SHRI SHEIKH JAINUL may kindly be granted extension of interim bail in case FIR No. 96/2020, P.S. Crime Branch, U/S 21/25/29 NDPS Act. for period of four weeks under the facts and circumstances of the case.”

2. As per status report dated 01.02.2024, authored by Sh. Arvind Kumar, Inspector of Police, AGS/Crime Branch, it is pointed out that the wife of the present applicant has been operated upon on 31.01.2024 and requires post operation care.

3. In view of the averments made in the application, the bail granted to

the present applicant vide order dated 08.01.2024 passed in BAIL APPLN. 38/2024 is extended till 12.02.2024, on the same terms and conditions.

4. The applicant shall surrender before the concerned Jail Authorities on 13.02.2024 by 04:00 PM. 13.02.2024 by 04:00 PM.

5. The application is partly allowed and disposed of accordingly.

6. Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.

7. Order be communicated to concerned Jail Superintendent for necessary information and compliance. necessary information and compliance.
