1.The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 CrPC seeking the following relief:-
"a) Allow the present Writ Petition under Article 226 of The
Constitution of India read with section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, directing the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for period of 01 month on the grounds as aforesaid"
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was married to one Karan Arora, who unfortunately passed away on 08.03.2024. She further submits that the present parole is being sought only for the purpose to perform certain rituals of her deceased husband at Kurukshetra.
3.Notice was issued in the present petition on 08.04.2024 with direction to the State to file its Status Report. The Status Report has been handed over in the Court, the same is taken on record.
4.A perusal of the Status Report shows that the factum of petitioner’s marriage to Karan Arora and the death of Karan Arora on 08.03.2024 has been verified.
5.In view of the above, the petitioner is granted parole for period of 15 days from the date of her release to perform rituals at Kurukshetra subject to her furnishing Personal Bond in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- and one Surety Bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of theJail Superintendent, further subject to the following conditions:- days from the date of her release to perform rituals at Kurukshetra subject to her furnishing Personal Bond in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- and one Surety Bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of theJail Superintendent, further subject to the following conditions:-

b) Petitioner shall not indulge in any criminal activity and shall not communicate with or come in contact with the witnesses. communicate with or come in contact with the witnesses.
6.Upon expiry of period of 15 days as stated above, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. surrender before the Jail Superintendent.
7.The petition stands disposed of.
8.Copy of the order be forwarded to the concerned Jail Superintendent
for necessary compliance and information.
9.Order dasti under signatures of the Court Master.
10.Order be uploaded on the website of this Court.
