3.The present petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking directions to the respondents to provide police protection.

4.The Investigating Officer is present in Court.

5.The learned Additional Standing Counsel (ASC) for the

State submits that an appropriate action will be taken with regard to the complaint given by the petitioner and protection if felt required will be provided.

6.The learned ASC for the State also states that the contact number of the Beat Officer will also be provided to the petitioner, who would be at liberty to call the Officer at any time if the necessity is felt.

7.In view of the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

8.The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
