1.This hearing has been done through hybrid mode.

2.This is petition filed by the Petitioner– Mr. Chaudhary Sudesh Kumar,a member of the Shahdara Bar Association,praying, inter alia, for theframing of proper model code of conduct for the conduct of elections in theShahdara Bar Association which are scheduled for 9[th]May, 2025.

3.Vide order dated 7[th]April, 2025, this Court has already appointed

Chairperson for the Election Committee, Shahdara Bar Association and theHon’ble Chairperson has also taken over the charge for the conduct ofelections.

4.Accordingly, the Hon’ble Chairperson of the Election Committee isfree to pass any specific code of conduct that may be required in order toensure that there is fair and free conduct of elections in peaceful manner.

5.A copy of the present writ petition be communicated to the Hon’bleChairperson of the Election Committee.
