1. This hearing has been done through hybrid mode.
2. The present petition under Sections 12 and 14 of the Contempt of
Courts Act, 1971 seeks the following prayers:
“A. Issue notice to Respondent No. 2/Contemnor as to why contempt proceedings may not be initiated against her under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 of the Order dated 22.05.25 in WP (C) No 6980/2025 Titled as Sh Trilok Chaudhary vs Govt of NCT of Delhi and Anr;
B. Try and punish Respondent No. 2 for committing contempt of court;
C. Award appropriate costs in favour of the Petitioner;
D. Pass any further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
3. Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on an advance notice, has handed up in Court today an order dated 24.07.2025, passed by SDM, Kanjhawala on the representation of the petitioner. The said order is taken on record. copy of the same has been supplied to learned counsel for
the petitioner.
4. It is further submitted on behalf of the respondents that in terms of circular No. F.166/SDM(HQ)/Land/2022/83 dated 14.08.2025, the petitioner can approach the concerned Sub-Registrar for appropriate registration.
5. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition and submits that he may be granted liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings in accordance with law before the competent authority.
6. Leave and liberty granted.
7. The present petition is disposed of as not pressed.
8. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
