1.Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for grant of parole for sixty days in FIR No.70/1999 under Sections 302/392/394/397/34 IPC, P.S.: Timarpur, Delhi.

2.It is submitted that the Petitioner is on furlough for two weeks and has to surrender on 06.09.2025. As his father expired on 23.08.2025 and his chaliswa is scheduled for 01.10.2025, parole be granted for 60 days.

3.Learned Standing Counsel for the State appears on advance Notice

and submits that once person is on furlough, parole can be granted only after his surrender on expiry of furlough. Therefore, the Application for parole on the urgent ground of chaliswa of his father can only be considered after his surrender.

4.In view of the submissions made, it is hereby directed that Petitioner shall surrender on the expiry of furlough, however, present Application of

Petitioner for parole shall be considered and decided by the State within 15 days from the date of his filing the same before the State.

5.With these observations, Petition along with pending Applications is disposed of. disposed of.

6.A copy of this Order be forwarded the concerned Jail Superintendent for compliance.
