3.The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking directions to the respondent for deciding the parole application filed by the petitioner.

4.The learned counsel for the respondent submits that no application on behalf of the petitioner has been received by the Jail Superintendent, seeking parole.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let the present petition be treated as an application for parole.

6.The petitioner is at liberty to file the copy of this petition before the Jail Superintendent within week, to be treated as an application seeking parole.

7.Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of.
