1.It is stated that an application for grant of furlough was moved by the petitioner before the Competent Authority on 27.12.2024. However, till date, the same has not been decided.

2.Let the same be decided on or before 06.02.2025, since the marriage

of the niece of the petitioner is to be solemnized on 07.02.2025 and the application for grant of furlough has been pending before the Competent Authority for last one month.

3.With these directions, the petition stands disposed of.

4.A copy of this order be sent to the Competent Authority for information and necessary compliance.

5.The order be uploaded on the website forthwith.
