Heard learned counsel for the parties.

All the abovementioned three criminal misc. applications are taken up together as in criminal misc. appln. no. 852 of 2007 Smt. Monika is the complainant and her husband Raman Jaggi, father-in-law Satpal Jaggi, mother-in-law Smt. Usha Jaggi and brother-in-law Rajat Jaggi are the respondents, in criminal misc. appln. no. 944 of 2007 the same are involved, while in criminal misc. case no. 461 of 2009 the complaint has been filed by Smt.

Monika against her father-in-law Satpal Jaggi and mother-in-law Smt Usha Jaggi.

Criminal Misc. Appln. No. 852 of 2007 has been filed by the applicants for quashing the proceedings in case no 4415 of 2007 passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haridwar vide F.I.R. No. 21 of 2007, under Sections 498-A and 506 of I.P.C. read with 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act (State Vs. Raman Jaggi and others). Criminal misc. appln. case no. 944 of 2007 has been filed for quashing of proceedings in complaint case no. 5943 of 2007, under Section 406 I.P.C., pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haridwar (Smt. Monika Vs. Raman Jaggi and others) while criminal misc. appln. no. 461 of 2009 has been filed for quashing of charge sheet dated 06.02.2009 and summoning order dated 01.05.2009 in criminal case no. 653 of 2009, under Sections 504 and 506 of I.P.C. (State Vs. Satpal Jaggi) pending before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haridwar.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 stated that joint compounding applications have been filed in all the abovementioned three cases. The parties have settled their disputes amicably and entered into the compromise in view of the case of B.S. Joshi and others Vs. State of Haryana and another reported in [(2003) 4 Supreme Court Cases 675].

Complainant Smt. Monika is present before the Court and made statement at the bar to the effect that she has settled her disputes with Raman Jaggi, his parents and brother. The parties have agreed to seek divorce by mutual consent, and have also agreed that criminal cases shall not be prosecuted by complainant Monika against them. sum

of ` 10,000,00/- (` Ten lacs only) has been paid as permanent alimony before the family court, Haridwar. All the disputes have been settled in order to maintain peace and harmony amongst the parties.

Taking into consider the facts and circumstances of the case that the parties have entered into compromise in view of the B.S. Joshi case (supra). The matters relate to the matrimonial dispute, thus proceedings in aforesaid cases pending before the respective courts, as mentioned in paragraph-2 of this order are, directed to be quashed.

The aforesaid criminal misc. applications are disposed of.
