Mr. Mohd. Matloob, Advocate present for the petitioner.

By way of present Contempt Petition, the petitioner seeks to punish the respondent-contemnor for willful disobedience of Order dated 23.04.2016 passed by coordinate bench of this Court in Writ Petition No.789/2016 (S/S).

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the aforesaid order, which is sought to be enforced by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent has not complied with the aforesaid order.

Instead of issuing notice on contempt petition to the respondent, the order dated 23.04.2016 passed by the coordinate bench of this Court is being reiterated to enable the petitioner to get the desired relief.

Contempt petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent to ensure compliance of the aforesaid order. In order to remind the respondent, the petitioner shall move fresh representation alongwith copy of this order, as also the aforesaid order. The respondent is directed to comply with aforesaid order no sooner certified copy of this order is placed before them.

This Court has not issued notice on contempt petition to the respondent, inasmuch as, one of the objects of the contempt jurisdiction is to ensure compliance of the order passed by this Court. Instead, the Court has reiterated the earlier order with the hope that respondent authority shall comply / execute the same.
