Mr. Vinod Kumar Nautiyal, Deputy Advocate General for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is no cause of action which survives in the writ petition as the petitioners have deposited the amount of penalty and the property in question (Truck) has been released in their favour.

In such view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition.

Permission granted.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
