This criminal miscellaneous application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant for expedite the criminal case No. 3786 of 2014, State vs. Wajid and others, U/s 498-A, 323, 506 of IPC and under Sections ¾ of Dowry Prohibition Act, pending before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Roorkee, District Haridwar.
From the perusal of the record, the charge sheet was filed on 26.07.2014 against the accused, namely, Wajid, Imran, Sahleen, Washid and Kulkasha, under Sections 498-A, 323, 506 of IPC and under Sections ¾ of Dowry Prohibition Act. The matter is pending since 2014.
In these circumstances, the present criminal misc. application filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of with the direction that the concerned court will decide the matter as expeditiously as possible preferably within period of nine months. All pending applications also stand disposed of.
