JUDGMENT

Writ Petition (PIL) No. 118 of 2020, filed by the petitioner, was disposed of on 14.07.2020 with direction to the Secretary, Tourism to take decision on petitioner’s representation within four weeks.

2. In this Contempt Petition, it is alleged that the Secretary, Tourism has wilfully violated the order of this Court.

3. response affidavit has been filed by opposite party. Along with response affidavit, the order passed by Secretary, Tourism on 13.01.2021 has been enclosed. Perusal of the said order reveals that petitioner’s representation was rejected.

4. Since Court had only directed Secretary, Tourism to take decision on petitioner’s representation, therefore, this is not case of wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court.

5. Accordingly, Contempt Petition is dismissed. Contempt notice issued against respondent is hereby discharged.

6. However, if the petitioner is dissatisfied with the decision, taken by Secretary Tourism, then it shall be open to him to challenge the same before the appropriate forum.
