JUDGMENT

Petitioner is aggrieved by his transfer, vide order dated 07.01.2022. By the said order, he has been transferred from Government I.T.I. Boongidhar (Pauri Garhwal) to Government I.T.I. Kaladhungi (Nainital), in public interest.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although petitioner joined at Government I.T.I. Boongidhar immediately after his appointment in the year 2011, however, in the year 2019, he was attached in another institution, namely, Government I.T.I. Sald Mahadev (Pauri Garhwal) and now petitioner has been transferred from Sald Mahadev to Kaladhungi. He further submits that Sald Mahadev as well as Boongidhar are remote and inaccessible

places, however, petitioner wants to continue at the place of present posting, due to his personal reasons.

3. Learned Additional C.S.C. submits that petitioner stands relieved from the institution where he was serving before transfer.

4. Having regard to the facts & circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to Director, Training & Employment, Uttarakhand. If petitioner makes such representation within one week from today, decision thereupon shall be taken within two weeks’ thereafter.

5. Till decision is taken on petitioner’s representation, he will not be forced to join at the transferred place.
