By this joint application bearing No.6079/2011, the parties have placed on record their tenns of settlement. Since the parties have amicably settled the matter, they seek quashing of FIR No.273/2010 under Sections 380/498A/406/34 IPC read with Section 3 of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 registered at PS Safdarjung Enclave and the proceedings emanated thereunder. The terms of settlement are taken on record.

The application is disposed of.

The present petition was filed as petition for quashing the aforesaid FIR on merits. Thus, learned counsel for the Petitioners seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to t1le an appropriate petition for quashing of the aforesaid FIR on the basis of the compromise arrived at between the parties, copy of which has been placed on record by the parties along with their respective affidavits.

Leave and liberty granted.

The petition and pending application are dismissed as withdrawn. Mr. Mohinder Singh, ACP, SJ Enclave, who is the Investigating Officer in the matter and is present in Court, states that in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties and in case the parties act upon the settlement, he would not arrest the Petitioners named in the aforesaid FIR.
