It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 areneighbours. quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter,which had led to registration of the present FIR No.563/2014 under Sections308/323/452/506/34 IPC at police station Subzi Mandi on the complaint ofrespondent no. 2 Ms. Vandana. Petitioners and respondent nos.2 to 5 havesettled their disputes amicably, therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed.Respondent nos. 3 to 5 are present in Court and have been identified by SI
Naveen of police station Subzi Mandi.Respondent no. 3 is father ofrespondent no. 2. Respondent nos. 3 to 5 submit that they have now settledthe matter with the petitioners, vide Memorandum of Understanding dated6[th]November, 2017 (Annexre A-2), of their own free will, voluntarily andwithout any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 3 submitsthat he has got instructions from respondent no. 2 to convey the court thatrespondent nol. 2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the samemay be quashed. Respondent no. 3 has identified signatures of respondentno. 2 in Memorandum of Understanding as well as receipt, which are atpages 50 to 54.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the neighboursvoluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.563/2014 under Sections308/323/452/506/34 IPC registered at police station Subzi Mandi and theconsequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationsare disposed of infructuous. Dasti.
