It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 are living in thesame locality.On the complaint of respondent no. 2, FIR No.274/2016under Sections 451/509/511 IPC was registered at police station GreaterKailash.With the intervention of their common friends, petitioner andrespondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably before the MediationCentre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 5[th]August, 2017; therefore, theaforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may bequashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SISumarjeet Kaur of police station G.K. – I. Respondent no. 2 admits having

settled the matter with petitioner her own free will, voluntarily and withoutany undue force, pressure or coercion and she has no objection in case FIRis quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner andrespondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.274/2016under Sections 451/509/511 IPC registered at police station Greater Kailashand the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
