Respondent no.2 Ms. Amarjeet Kaur is present in Court along withher counsel and has been identified by ASI Sanjay Kumar of police stationTilak Nagar.Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter withpetitioner no. 1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undueforce, pressure or coercion before the Counselling Cell, Family Court, WestDistrict, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 21[st]April, 2017.Respondent no. 2submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved

by decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 30[th]October, 2017 passed bythe Family Courts, West District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. Respondent no.2 says that she has received the entire settled amount and she has noobjection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as detailed above, moreparticularly, the fact that marriage of petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2has already been dissolved by decree of divorce by mutual consent, in theinterest of justice, FIR No.349/2012 under Sections 498-A/406 IPCregistered at Police Station Tilak Nagar and the consequent proceedingsemanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
