Learned counsels for the petitioner and respondent no. 2 submit thatmatter has been settled between the petitioner and respondent no.2 todayitself, vide Compromise Deed dated 15[th]March, 2018; therefore, FIR No.82/2014 under Sections 354/509/506/341/323/384/427 IPC registered atpolice station Maurice Nagar on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may bequashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel andhas been identified by SI Saris Khan of police station Maurice Nagar.Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner of her ownfree will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide

Compromise Deed dated 15[th]March, 2018. Respondent no. 2 has placedon record her affidavit, wherein she has categorically stated that she has noobjection in case aforesaid FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view of the compromise arrived at between the petitionerand respondent no. 2, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served tokeep the criminal proceedings pending.Accordingly, in the interest ofjustice, FIR No. 82/2014 under Sections 354/509/506/341/323/384/427 IPCregistered at police station Maurice Nagar and the consequent proceedingsemanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
