Petitioner no. 1 is stated to be bed-ridden. Petitioner no. 1 is beingrepresented by his father, that is, petitioner no. 2 Shri Sewa Ram Bakolia.Petitioner nos. 3 to 10 are relatives of petitioner nos. 1 and 2. Respondentno. 2 is wife of petitioner no. 1. Respondent no.2 Ms. Reshma Bakolia ispresent in Court and has been identified by SI Prabha of police stationPrasad Nagar. Respondent no.2 confirms that petitioner no. 1 is bed-ridden.Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner no. 2 ofher own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure orcoercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 30[th]

October, 2017. It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 was being represented bypetitioner no. 2 before the Delhi Mediation Centre and has entered into thesettlement on behalf of all the petitioners. Respondent no. 2 says that shehas already received the settled amount of `3,00,000/- and she has noobjection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioners.Affidavit ofrespondent no. 2 is also on record.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as detailed above, in theinterest of justice, FIR No.328/2007 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPCregistered at Police Station Prasad Nagar and the consequent proceedingsemanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
