It is submitted that property disputes between the petitioners andrespondent nos. 2 and 3 had led to registration of the FIR No. 509/2016under Sections 420/120-B IPC at Police Station Saket.Petitioners andrespondent nos. 2 and 3 have now settled their disputes amicably, vide aMemorandum of Understanding dated 16[th]August, 2017; therefore,aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may bequashed. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court along with theircounsel and have been identified by SI Rakesh Kumar of police station
Saket.Respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matterwith the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force,pressure or coercion, inasmuch as have received the settled amount of `80lacs out of the total settled amount of `1 crore. Petitioners have paid `20lacs, vide demand draft in the name of respondent no. 2, photocopywhereof has been placed on record. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit thatthey have no objection in case the FIR is quashed.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners andrespondent nos. 2 and 3, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 509/2016 underSections 420/120-B IPC registered at Police Station Saket and theconsequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
