Respondent no. 2 Sangeeta Sahdev is present in Court and has been
identified by SI Jaiveer of police station Kotla Mubarak Pur. Respondentno. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will,voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before theDelhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 17[th]October, 2017(Annexure E). Respondent no. 2 says that terms of the settlement have alsobeen complied with. Respondent no. 2 says that she has no objection in casecomplaint case is quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners andrespondent no. 2, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served inkeeping the criminal complaint pending.Accordingly, in the interest ofjustice, Complaint Case no. 82/1/15 registered at P.S. Kotla Mubarakpurunder Sections 354/323/506/34 IPC titled Sangeeta Sahdev vs. RameshKumar and Ors. pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, SaketCourts, New Delhi is quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applicationis disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
