By way of the present petition filed under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India read with section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioner inter-alia seeks directions for expeditious investigation in case FIR No.319/2024 dated 01.07.2024 registered under sections 354/354-A/354-B/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at P.S.: Shalimar Bagh, Delhi.
Ms. Gayatri Nandwani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner
submits, that the FIR was lodged on 01.07.2024 in relation to an
incident that had occurred on 21.07.2023; but that investigation in the matter is still not complete. matter is still not complete.

4.Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned ASC (Criminal) appears on behalf of the State on advance copy; and submits that investigation in the matter is complete and the Investigating Officer undertakes to file the final report under section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, within 02 weeks. 7.In the circumstances, it is directed that the S.H.O., P.S.: Shalimar Bagh shall furnish to the petitioner his cellphone number as well as the cellphone number of the concerned beat constable, who the petitioner may call in any eventuality.
