3.The present petition is filed seeking following reliefs:

“a. Allow instant petition and issue appropriate directions to the Ld. Trial Court for expeditious disposal of case bearing no. Cr. Case No. 14327/2023 titled as “State Vs, Bharat Bhushan Bansal” which is pending in the court of Ms. Divya Arora, Ld. JMFC, North West, Rohini Courts, Delhi, and/or,

b. Issue appropriate directions to the Ld. Trial Court for passing appropriate order on charge or discharge, as the case may be, and in case the applicant is not discharged then further directions may be given for framing of charges against the applicant/accused Mr. Bharat Bhushan Bansal in the case bearing no. Cr. Case No. 14327/2023 titled as “State Vs. Bharat Bhushan

Bansal” which is pending in the court of Ms. Divya Arora, Ld. JMFC, North West, Rohini Courts, Delhi, on the next date of hearing, ie, 12.11.2024.and/or

c. To pass any other appropriate order or direction which this Hon’ble court may deem just and proper may also be passed in favour of the applicant in the interest of justice.”

4.The FIR was registered on 01.06.2023 pursuant to which chargesheet was filed on 04.12.2023.

5.The grievance of the petitioner is that no order on charge has been passed as yet and the petitioner is languishing in custody.

6.The petitioner is entitled to file an application seeking regular bail. However, no directions can be passed which would be in the nature of controlling the board of the learned Trial Court.

7.Even otherwise, the chargesheet was filed only on 04.12.2023 and it cannot be held at this stage that the trial has been unnecessarily prolonged.

8.In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present petition at this stage and the petition is, therefore, dismissed.
